FOUNDING PILOT · COACHING WITH JOEL

Practice how you want to show up in real life.

Individual coaching for conversations, relationships, and everyday choices. Bring what feels difficult or unfinished. Together, we’ll find something useful to notice, say, or try.

We might work on expressing what you mean, making decisions, understanding another perspective, or speaking up for your needs. You don’t have to know the right skill—or have the perfect explanation—to begin.

THE FIRST SERIES
$300 total

Three 50-minute individual sessions
Over approximately four to six weeks

The founding pilot will begin with three clients. You can book a 30-minute introductory conversation with Joel.

See the booking page for how to request a conversation. This conversation does not reserve a place in the paid series.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Discovery, practice,
and time to adjust.

  1. Understand and choose

Explore what matters to you, where you feel capable, and where you want more room to grow. Choose a focus and a small practice together.

  2. Bring it into everyday life

Look at what happened when you tried the practice. Notice what helped, what got in the way, and whether another approach fits better.

  3. Review and move forward

Reflect on what you’ve learned, what has changed, and what you want to keep practicing. Agree on a useful direction beyond the series.

Between sessions

You’ll receive a brief written practice summary after each session. You can also send one brief written check-in between sessions; I’ll respond within two business days.

We’ll look for concrete changes in what you notice, say, or do. Outcomes depend on your circumstances and practice; coaching cannot guarantee how another person responds.

NEXT STEP

A CONCRETE EXAMPLE

From a moment to a practice.

This is an illustration, not a story about a client.

You tell me someone keeps changing plans at the last minute. We look at what happened, why it matters to you, and what you might assume their reply means. You choose what you want to ask for, then try saying it aloud.

Between sessions, you might make that request or decide on another next step. When we meet again, we look at what you learned and adjust. You do not have to produce a perfect conversation for the work to be useful.

A few things you may be wondering.

Do I need to know what I want to work on?

No. Finding language for your experience can be part of our work. We’ll discover a direction together, and you can revise it as you learn.

Do I need to share your faith?

No. My faith informs how I approach people. Whether your beliefs are part of our conversations is up to you.

Is this about fixing my weaknesses?

We’ll notice strengths as well as difficulties. Growth may involve practice, support, a boundary, or a different way to use something you already do well.

Is this therapy or couples counseling?

This is individual coaching for reflection and skill development. It does not provide diagnosis, mental-health treatment, crisis support, or couples therapy. Understanding someone doesn’t require agreeing, excusing harm, or staying in an unsafe interaction.

What happens after I express interest?

Choose a time on the booking page and Zoho Calendar will send the appointment details. The separate update form saves your permission for future notes; it does not request or confirm an appointment.

Can I use the free tools without buying coaching?

Yes. Both tools can stand on their own. The worksheet keeps your answers in your open browser page and doesn’t send them to Joel. Download before closing it.
